Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley one of the most well-known and wealthy Reggae artists was born on 26 February 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. In the film that became a cult classic, Shottas he starred opposite Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records where he recorded his first album in the year 1996. With Father Like Son and several singles, including Judge Not with Patra and Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Does It (remix) and Sensimelia all of which added to his rising popularity in the new generation of reggae artists. In 1997 Ky-Mani joined forces along with Praswell (Fugees) on Avenue which was a smash cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley appeared in Midem (international music showcase) when it was held in Miami in the very first time. Marley did a performance in the Cameo Theatre that was broadcasted live throughout 36 nations. Marley was a target in auction warfare.
