Anushka Sharma, born 1 May 1988 in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, is the child of Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Her father was a former colonel is Anushka. Her mother is a housewife. In 2017, Anushka was the first model to debut at the designer Wendell Roricks' Les Vamps Show at Lakme Fashion Week and was picked by Rodricks to be the finale model at the Spring Summer 2007 Collection. Anushka Sharma has been a part with a number of campaigns for brands since she made her Lakme Fashion Week debut. This includes campaigns for Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka joined an acting class before beginning to audition for film roles alongside her modelling career. The film in which she appeared performed the role of a young girl who got married to a middle-aged man (the character Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka Sharma starred in the film 'Badmash Company that was released in. The film was also a star-studded film with Shahid Kapoor and Vir Das. The film received mixed reviews. In the same year, Anushka Sharma was seen in the film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' alongside Ranveer Singh in the role of a middle-class Punjabi girl who launches her own business of wedding planning. It was a surprise hit and received good reviews. Anushka finished her deal of three films together with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
